Privacy Policy

This policy covers all of ApexTrusted, including our health insurance section and emergency dental directory. It explains what information we collect, why, and what choices you have about it.

Some parts of the site ask you for information directly. The Health Coverage Advisor can ask for non-medical comparison details such as age band, state, ZIP code, current coverage, household size, optional estimated household income, Medicare/Medicaid context, and coverage priorities. You can see the advisor result without giving us your name or phone number. ApexTrusted does not ask for your name or phone number in the advisor or chat assistant and does not arrange callbacks. If you want live help, you can choose to call a paid referral line described in our Advertising & Referral Disclosure. Dental reviews and contact forms collect only the information shown on those forms.

Our servers and delivery services can process IP addresses, requested pages, browser information and timestamps for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Google Analytics 4 and tags managed through Google Tag Manager measure page visits and interactions, such as clicks on paid referral phone links. Depending on the tags, browser settings and applicable choices, cookies or similar identifiers may be used for analytics and advertising measurement. Our first-party usage dashboard separately counts pageviews and browser-tab sessions using a random sessionStorage identifier, device/browser categories and a country code when available from our delivery network. It does not store raw visitor IP addresses, search-query parameters or complete referrer URLs.

ApexTrusted may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to ApexTrusted and/or other sites on the Internet.

Use Privacy settings in the footer to accept, reject or customize optional tracking, and to change your choice later. The first-party preference tool is not a Google-certified IAB TCF consent platform. Personalized AdSense advertising for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland requires a separately configured, Google-certified consent platform. Accepting this banner does not establish that requirement is satisfied. Ads are separate from editorial research and the paid referral phone line.

Quiz answers are used to generate a rule-based comparison path and to remember your progress during the session. Quiz and chat answers are not used to arrange callbacks or passed to insurance or dental providers. Contact details submitted through a former callback form are kept only for recordkeeping and privacy requests and are not shared. Reviews you submit are held for moderation before they appear publicly, alongside the name and rating you provided.

Our website sends measurement events for phone-link clicks. The event payloads implemented in the website do not include the name, phone number or questionnaire answers submitted in a form.

ApexTrusted does not share callback requests and no longer collects them. If you choose to call a paid referral line, the call is routed by a third-party call-referral network (Marketcall for health insurance) to a third-party partner; anything you tell that partner is handled under its own privacy practices, not ApexTrusted's. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or unrelated third parties.

We keep submitted information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill the purpose it was collected for (for example, moderating a review or answering a privacy request) or to comply with our own recordkeeping. First-party analytics pageview records older than 90 days are routinely removed during analytics collection. We take reasonable technical steps to protect stored information, though no website can guarantee perfect security.

ApexTrusted is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — see our Your Rights page for details on how. You can also decline to submit any optional form; the site itself remains browsable without doing so.

We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below.
